Kapaa
Close to the east shore, you can dine at the Pono Market for fresh local food. Another good choice is Kilauea Fish Market for fresh local local seafood. Or sample different cuisines via its many food trucks. If pork isn’t your thing, No Worries. There are plenty of restaurants in beachside resorts and along highways to Kapa’a. Smith’s Tropical Paradise near Kapaa is another good option.

Hanalei
On the north shore, food trucks are located near local shops, so you are bound to find enjoyable options. It’s also a good place to mingle with locals.
