Jazz at the Bistro, St. Louis Restaurants

Jazz at the Bistro, St. Louis; (c) Soul Of America

Black-owned and black-friendly St. Louis Restaurants are modest in number, but enough to please, whether in town for a day or weeks. These establishments come in old school, family modern and upscale variety to fit every budget and occasion. They are mostly Downtown and Midtown. Since St. Louis is a well respected barbecue city, its hard for many of them to stand out among their peers, but most are worth the trip.
