Diagon Alley dragon in Hogwartz, Islands of Adventure

Islands of Adventure

DESCRIPTION: This Universal attraction, Islands of Adventure, is really a village within the theme park: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Fans of the movie franchise will not be disappointed. Enter Gringotts and bank beneath the fire-breathing dragon, see goblins hard at work. Journey through cavernous passageways that lead underground as you climb aboard a multi-dimensional thrill ride navigating subterranean vaults. You’ll see various maladroit characters evade the evil villain’s wrath. Hogwarts Express is the must-ride experience ride within and between Universal theme parks. Join forces with the TERMINATOR in a battle to prevent mankind’s extinction at the cold hands of futuristic cyborgs. Test your superhero knowledge and fun at the Adventures of Spiderman. The Incredible Hulk Coaster launches you from zero to 40 mph in 2 seconds. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is another innovative 3-D pulse-pounding thrill ride. Dr. Doom’s Fearfall is a diabolical device created to produce fear by rocketing you 150 feet into the air, then hurling you back down faster than gravity. Bilge Rat Barges let you brave white-water rapids in a splashing raft ride that’ll make you wish you’d brought a towel. Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls is a wet-getting flume ride. Comic Strip Lane lets you meet the characters in person. Jurassic Park River Adventure is one of the park’s signature attractions, it features a river raft ride where you’ll see dinosaurs in their natural habitats, including one hungry T-Rexup close. At Jurassic Park Discovery Center, your kids can unearth the secrets surrounding dinosaurs via hands-on exhibits and observing fossil remains. Lost Continent features Dueling Dragons inverted roller coasters where you can nearly touch the other coaster as it zooms by. Poseidon’s Fury lets you tour the remains of ancient temples and immerse yourself in an underwater adventure. Dr Seuss characters come to life at the Cat In The Hat and your toddlers will absolutely love the interactive Caro-Seuss-El at Seuss Landing. Skull Island: Reign of Kong is easily a 5-star 4D attraction. As you ride a special expedition vehicle through an incredible Skull Island set that is similar to the movie, keep in mind that the ride gets very intense, possibly too intense for kids under 9. A wide variety of themed restaurants help you stay in character with all the fun.
