Not related to the original, this club opened at this location in 1978. Its Soul Food rivals the jazz for top billing on Friday and Saturday nights; reservations only; Mon & Thu Swing music, Sat & Sun Daytime Gospel. BTW, Duke Ellington and Cab Calloway gave the original Cotton Club at 142nd Street & Lenox Avenue its swing. Fortunately, the club reopened after the COVID Shutdown.
