Muhammad Ali Center Review

A cultural attraction and an international education center inspired by the ideals of its founder, Muhammad Ali. The Ali Center’s 2 ½ levels of award-winning exhibits, educational and public programming, and global initiatives carry his legacy and inspire exploration of the greatness within ourselves. Innovative exhibits and captivating multimedia presentations tell Ali’s story through six core values of his life: respect, confidence, conviction, dedication, spirituality and giving. You and your children will learn about Ali’s Louisville roots, unprecedented boxing career, his societal and religious convictions, and global humanitarianism.

The Ali Center includes a five-screen orientation theater film, historic Civil Rights Era media footage, an interactive timeline of Ali’s life, video of Ali fights, boxing memorabiia, hands-on boxing fun, a boxing ring, two art galleries, a children’s Hope and Dream wall, retail store, and cafe. Much more than a place that tells the story of one man’s journey, the Ali Center reaches beyond its physical walls to promote respect, hope, and understanding, and to inspire adults and children everywhere to be as great as they can be. It is ADA compliant, has family restrooms, multi-language exhibits, meeting and event space.
