Yusho Asian Grill
DESCRIPTION: At the re-imagined entrance to Monte Carlo Casino Resort, Yusho exemplifies the latest Grill & Ramen trend that’s popular on both coasts. When you enter, a colorful walk by the open kitchen stimulates taste buds en route to your table. Once seated, permit Kibo sake to whet the palate, then taste a small cup of Pea Crab Soup. If you love it as much as we did, you’ll order a 3rd cup. It features a compact menu on one page. Though Spanish Octopus and Mango Mochi are acquired tastes, any of these grilled items, Wild Salmon, Wagyu Ribeye Steak, Duck Breast with mushrooms, Spicy Tuna Taco, and Lamb Skewers with coconut & 7 Chinese spices are unapologetically delicious. On the Ramen side, the Spicy Shrimp Ramen and Mushroom Ramen dance with exotic flavor as well. Feel free to order extra ramen. The mint chocolate ice cream and banana caramel ice cream cap off a wonderful evening of casual dining with attentive Wait Staff. The modest-price mixed-drinks are inventive without crippling your wallet.

StripSteak
DESCRIPTION: Compared to other top steakhouses, Michael Mina’s newest restaurant in Vegas marks new territory in design and presentation with dramatic lighting, complimented with a brown metal look that nicely accents fully exposed, glass-enclosed beef racks and an eye level view the hard-working chefs. It may be impossible to choose an under performer from the menu. I had the rib eye steak cooked to perfection. The beef tartar of Angus Beef, capers, grain mustard and other ingredients was impeccable. The crab cake appetizer was small by Maryland standards, but nonetheless flavorful. The Madagascar Creme Brulee was so good, if I were having a last supper, I’d pray this was on the menu.
