The charming manor was originally built for the CEO of Liggett & Meyers tobacco company. Its a splendidly decorated 8,000-square foot Colonial Revival Style manor featuring four spacious guest rooms, each with a private bath. Guest rooms are individually decorated and named Magnolia Suite, Tiger Room, Jasmine Room and The Eagle’s Inn. Guests can spend their afternoon listening to music, having tea, or enjoying a good book in any of the Manor’s common areas. Guests also enjoy complimentary beverages, scrumptious homemade desserts and a full Southern breakfast each morning. Monica is an expert on all things hospitality and Daniel is renown for his award-winning carrot cake. If you like cats, you’ll love their beautiful Siamese felines. If you are sensitive to cats, the innkeepers will restrict them to their quarters. The inn is located within walking distance of Downtown, Durham Bulls Athletic Park and historic Brightleaf Square district. It is easily accessible to Interstate Freeways 85 and 40, and a short ride from Duke University, North Carolina Central University, University of North Carolina, Research Triangle Park and RDU International Airport.
