Heritage Village Museum
DESCRIPTION: Conveniently located inside Sharon Woods Park in Sharonville, Ohio about 20 minutes drive from downtown, Heritage Village offers a guided tour of early Ohio as interpreters guide you through our picturesque country village of 11 different buildings. In June they present a Cincinnati Runaway Slave Participatory Drama where you are invited to take on a new persona and become a group of runaways traveling under the guise of a church choir. Throughout the 90-minute experience you are led by dramatically portrayed Mr. and Mrs. John Hatfield, Black abolitionists, by lanterns along small pathways and wide-open fields to escape a local slave catcher.
