Airport

Charleston International Airport (CHS) is small with few direct flights, other than to Atlanta, Raleigh-Durham and Charlotte. For Car Rental at the airport, call 843-767-1100. Taxis from the airport to downtown cost $22. For each passenger in excess of two, a fee of $10 per passenger per trip is charged. Shuttles: the rate for Peninsular Charleston, which includes Downtown, is $10 per passenger. Mt. Pleasant Airport Shuttle (843-971-4901) also provides service from 5am-Midnight.
