Toronto Museums & Arts
If world museum standards for cities could be measured on a scale of 1 to 5, Toronto can be considered 4. That means visitors will find ample reason to buy a multi-museum pass. It features a strong collection of historical museums. Its fine art and archeology museums are noteworthy and its science and contemporary art museums are top-shelf. Since Toronto and Canada played a large role in the Underground Railroad, it would be nice to see a museum gallery dedicated to the stories of escaped slaves.
Royal Ontario Museum
This distinguished museum has a refined selection of traveling, temporary and permanent art exhibitions. It has hosted world-renowned exhibitions over the years, including art works by European and Canadian masters, artifacts from the tomb of Tutankhamon. It features more than 30,000 art pieces in the permanent collection, including paintings and sculptures by Canadian, European, Inuit and Native Canadian artists, as well as various artifacts, prints and drawings from across the globe. The museum boutique includes posters, art cards, books, mugs, sculptures, and crafts. Items sold at the boutique were inspired by exhibits at the museum.

Bata Shoe Museum
Just look at the faces of my companions and you will see what I mean. An added bonus was a full exhibit on the clothing and art of the roaring twenties. The Bata Shoe Museum is an internationally-acclaimed institution and architectural treasure.

Toronto Centre for the Arts
DESCRIPTION: It opened in 1993, with the Broadway-bound revival of Show Boat. Originally called the North York Performing Arts Centre, it was renamed the Ford Centre for the Performing Arts from 1994-8 before becoming the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Located in the heart of the GTA, no other entertainment and arts facility is better positioned than the Toronto Centre for the Arts. It is easily accessible by major highways and TTC rapid transit. Equidistant between two major TTC stations (Sheppard and North York Centre stations)

Ontario Science Center
Offers interactive and multi-media exhibits with live demonstrations and exhibits on topics that include sports, space, the environment and the information highway. One of the unique features of Canadian Museums and exhibits are the hands-on features for kids. The Weston Family Innovation Centre is no exception. It has 50 open-ended experiences that allow children to create and innovate.
