Museum of Modern Art
This venue offers Brazilian and international modern art from the 20th and the 21st centuries. At approach, you’ll like the stunningly attractive gardens. The museum recovered from a devastating fire in 1978 to restore its permanent collections and accented with traveling exhibitions. It is beloved once again. National Museum of Fine Arts
This beautiful Portuguese architecture museum holds an impressive collection of Brazilian paintings, sculptures, and prints on display. Most of the oversized paintings and sculptures are from the 1800s. The smaller exhibitions are dedicated to more recent folk art and African art. It reminds you of some of the great museums in Europe.

Museum of Contemporary Art in Niteroi
The dazzling architectural design is a landmark museum designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Visitors from around the world and sometimes, protestors visit the building as well as its notable collection of contemporary art.

This museum was the government house between 1897-1960 when Rio de Janeiro was the capital of Brazil (1822-1960).
