Bajan Roots & Rhythms
A “must-see” in Barbados, this cabaret dinner show is held Wednesdays and Fridays at The Plantation Theatre from 7p-10p. It is the only cabaret show on the island to have a true representation of Barbados culture and it features an authentic Bajan Buffet. Reservations required. Casual attire.

A district of upscale restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and old rum shops near a large church. Something of a contradiction, and yet it all works together organically, you’ll find million-dollar condos next door to cheap hotels that entertain both young and old. Boatyard
One of the main entertainment districts on the island features local and international entertainment. From calypso to hip-hop, reggae to disco, and much more. Young singles and couples particularly like to party into the early hours with cocktails at Sharkey’s Bar.
Earth and Fire Workshop
Laura Ward of Amerindian descent has produced artistic ceramic pieces and wind chimes for over a decade that are fantastic collectibles for visitors. She was intrigued by the fact that the initial inhabitants of Barbados were originally from northeast Venezuela and conceived Earth and Fire as a trans-cultural project. Products are individually hand-crafted with a passion for detail and authenticity inspired by Barbadian people, architecture, and fauna. Located on Main Street in Connell Town, St. Lucy.

Atlantis Submarine
This tour concept, started by a company in Grand Cayman, is highly recommended for the entire family. Imagine yourself in a real submarine, with large viewports fully submerged in the beautiful Caribbean Sea full of marine life passing by. Up to 48 persons are seated in the submarine that takes you to depths of 150 feet in air-conditioned comfort. Oistins
Once the major seaport of South Coast; it was the site where Royalist Barbadians grudgingly pledged their allegiance to Oliver Cromwell and his British Government in 1652. Today it is a principal fishing port and the site of a major fish festival. As you can imagine, it features, this charming place has the best local seafood.
Moon Town
This seaside village is full of fantastic views of the sea. This unique area features a supermarket, bakery, nightclub, restaurant, hardware store, and deli. Moontown is an ideal place to live, work and shop. Located in Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy
Ragged Point Lighthouse
At the Eastern point of the island lies the spectacular view and East Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse is not open to the public, but the view is worth a visit. From here you can see Culpepper Island which is separated from the mainland by a channel about 100 feet wide. Located in St. Philip.
South Point Lighthouse
This 89-foot-tall lighthouse flashes every 30 seconds and is located near Miami Beach on the south coast of Barbados.
Andromeda Botanical Garden
It started as a private plant collection around the home of Ms. Iris Bannochie in 1954, then opened to the public after a fundraising event hosted by the Barbados Horticultural Society in the 1970s. Accessible by paid admission, Andromeda features over 600 species of plants adapted to a range of tropical environments.
Foul Bay
A beautiful cove in the south-eastern cliffs of the island. The large waves and strong currents which make it a scenic spot, also make it unsuitable for swimming. Just enjoy a fine relaxing view provided by nature.
