Massawa Review

A long time establishment in the Haight District, Massawa moved from Haight-Ashbury to North Beach. After sampling Meat Sambusa, Vegetable Sambusa and Macaw Soup appetizers, try the injera, chicken, lamb, beef and vegetarian dishes. For exotic delight, try the Khicha Fitfit with Silsi made from torn pieces of fresh eriterian flat bread khicha cooked with silsi and topped with yogurt. If that’s not your taste, try the Fritata scrambled eggs with onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Served with two French rolls.Your stomach will thank your the delicious food. Your wallet will thank you for the prices. No wonder it gets busy with loyal patrons most evenings.
