Museum of Discovery and Science
DESCRIPTION: Over 200 hands-on exhibits of science and technology are neatly organized in an 85,000 square foot venue. Once you enter, the enormous Great Gravity Clock is the center of attraction. The museums’s other major exhibits include Runways To Rockets allowing guests to take a simulated trip to the Moon or Mars. Florida Ecoscapes and Discovery Center for Children are fantastic for kids seven and under. Guests can also pet alligators, turtles and friendly iguanas. Rounding out the edutainment experience, AutoNation IMAX theater seats 300 and features a digital audio system that delivers crystal clear sound through 42 speakers as you watch immersive Hollywood movies on a 60-foot wide x 80-foot high screen.

Butterfly World
DESCRIPTION: Open since 1988, fascinating attraction allows guests to walk through an aviary that looks like a tropical rain forest and is filled with some two thousand caterpillars and multicolored butterflies. Outside the aviary, landscaped gardens accent a small pond, a gift shop and a pavilion containing mounted specimens of exotic insects and more butterflies from around the world.

Miramar Regional Park
DESCRIPTION: This 173-acre park consists of 4 football/soccer fields and 2 cricket grounds. It has 2 playgrounds and 1 medium,3 large, and 1 pavilion for for birthday parties, family barbeques, and corporate picnics. It also has 2 full size basketball courts, 1 volleyball courts, and an art exhibit area. Soon 2 baseball fields, 2 soccer fields, and the Aquatic Complex open. Families to cool off in the interactive water playground and beach area that resembles Castaway Island. The pool has swimming lanes and a dive well. Future phases will add pavilions, professionally lit tennis courts and paddle boats and canoes.

Tropical Adventure Cruise

Flamingo Gardens
DESCRIPTION: Located one of the oldest botanical gardens in in South Florida, the park consists a large free-flight aviary featuring wading birds, a crocodile lagoon, river otter and bobcat habitats. A Florida citrus grove adds to the sounds of exotic birds chirping in this lush tropical setting. Visitors can take a narrated tram tour or walk paved paths to see the grounds.

DESCRIPTION: Built in 1998, this venue seats 25,000 for concerts, over 20,000 for basketball events and nearly 20,000 for Florida Panthers Hockey.
