FAMILY ATTRACTIONS

North Myrtle Beach Grand Prix
Featuring Kiddie rides to Formula 1 race cars, Grand Prix is a fun driver’s paradise; the impressive roster of vehicles includes Grand Prix go-carts, mini Ferraris, Jeeps and Corvettes that can be driven on a variety of tracks for high performance fun; though there is fun to be had by all ages, some tracks require licensed drivers due to their degree of challenge; also offer miniature golf courses and water race parks with bumper boats; speed boats dinosaur rides, air-conditioned arcades and a Car Carrousel round out the attractions; 3900 US Highway 17 South in the Windy Hill community; 843-272-6010

Alligator Adventure
Designed for self-guided tours along 5000 feet of boardwalk, this alligator park and reptile research institute adjacent to Barefoot Landing brings more attraction diversity to The Grand Strand; featuring alligators and crocodiles of all ages and sizes, the naturalistic 13-acre venue is also home to a variety of exotic birds, frogs, snakes, tortoises and lizards who share a common ecosystem in the wild; see white Albino American Alligators, Galapagos Tortoises, dwarf crocodiles of West Africa, and a serpentarium that holds cobras, pythons, boas, and even anacondas; one of the nicer aspects of the park is how the boardwalk weaves in and out of settings that emulate wetland habitats; informative exhibits, demonstrations and an amphitheater hosting shows every hour will gleefully help you pass the time; the park is handicapped accessible; US Highway 17 North
