AIR

Nashville International Airport (BNA) is a medium size airport with connections to most large domestic cities. Car Rentals: Atlas. Avis, Armada Vans, Budget, Enterprise, National, and Thrifty. Taxis depart from the ground level of the airport from 6:30am to 11pm. For 24 hours service call American Rivergate Cab 615-865-4100; Music City Taxi 800-359-9692; and Yellow Cab 615-256-0101. ShuttleMAX (615-394-8124) and Gray Line Downtown Airport Express 800-669-9463 offers transportation to major hotels located downtown and along West End Avenue near Vanderbilt University. Shuttle tickets are under $20 for round trip; buses depart every 15 minutes from the airport and every 30 minutes from hotels, daily.

TRAINS

Nashville does not have Amtrak train service at present.

TRANSIT

Nashville MTA buses depart the airport more than 10 times per day Monday-Friday and two to three times per day Saturday-Sunday. Check with the customer service attendant at curbside or call 615-862-5950. Opryland Hotel Airport Shuttle departs for the hotel every 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at Opryland USA Information Center on the ground level for one-way and round trip.

Nashville Freeway Network is growing fast with roadway construction projects recently completed or under construction to accommodate the population growth. Overall, the traffic moves smother than Dallas or Atlanta, even during commute hours. The freeways are:
