DESCRIPTION: Founded in 2002, Keisha Beard & husband Gregory Beard got the inspirational idea to start a spa by renovating an old building that belonged to the family -- being close to Fisk University and noticing that there was no other spa in the area, they launched the first black-owned day spa in town; the owner has an eye for creating a classy holistic, therapeutic environment; relax with a wide range of facial, soak, manicure, pedicure and massage spa treatments and pricing packages provided by a professionally trained and licensed staff; enjoy the soft music and aromatic scents of the popular Meditation Room that guests enjoy before, between and after services book your appointment early; includes a 30 x 60 foot Essense Banquet Room used for spa parties and wedding receptions
