MILWAUKEE TRANSPORTATION
AIR
General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is a small-to-midsize passenger airport with attractive shops and cafes. Taxis: Yellow Cabs and American United Taxis are just outside the baggage claim area. Car Rentals: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz, and National provide service are on the premises. Follow signage exiting the airport to Downtown -- its only a short ride north.
TRAINS
Milwaukee Intermodal Station is at 433 West St. Paul Avenue. In 2007, the train staton was upgraded to an intermodal transportation center with a restaurant and larger waiting areas to host Amtrak, Greyhound, Megabus, Jefferson Express Bus, regular buses and taxis. Daily Amtrak routes hosted here are:
Amtrak Hiawatha: Milwaukee-Chicago (14 daily)
Amtrak Empire Builder: Seattle-Minneapolis-Madison-Milwaukee-Chicago

Milwaukee Intermodal Station
Minneapolis-Madison-Milwaukee-Chicago-St. Louis-Kansas City is U.S. High Speed Rail Corridor receiving funding by the U.S. Department of Transportation. At present, Milwaukee does not have a Light Rail or Streetcar system.
