Robert Frazier Gallery of Contemporary Art
DESCRIPTION: Named after artist and owner Robert Frazier, The Robert Frazier Gallery of Contemporary Art is a reflection of his passion for art and historic preservation in Kansas City’s urban core. Situated in what once was a Woolworth's Dime Store in the in the historical F. W. Woolworth Building, the gallery is a refreshing respite from the hustle and bustle of its midtown surroundings. The gallery exhibits artist works in different disciples, pastels, collage, acrylic, oil painting, watercolor, glass, clay, and sculpture and presents special spoken word and poetry readings the 3rd Friday and Saturday of every month from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m, and a series of lectures and workshops. In addition to the gallery, check out the Gift Shop with one-of-a-kind accessories, collectible books, note cards and more (an online gift shop is coming soon)
