Some cruise lines let families enjoy activities on their private beaches

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS ON CRUISE LINES

Children's programs are separate supervised programs offered by the cruise lines at no additional charge. Most programs employ an energetic staff that has college degrees in education or related field. On the newer large ships, the program facilities are elaborate and include a full day of fun activities for the children. Sample activities include arts, crafts, science experiments, birthday parties, ice cream socials, face painting, storytelling, talent shows, movies, ship tours, sports, scavenger hunts, games and various educational activities. Children who enjoy summer camp, preschool or similar large group activities have a great time in the program.

For children who do not enjoy group activities, the cruise ships offer babysitting inside your stateroom for an additional charge.
