Museum of Design Atlanta
DESCRIPTION: An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, its features a wide variety of designs, from recycled tobacco tins and lard pails to classic boxes illustrating figures such as Hop-along Cassidy, the Harlem Globetrotters, Annie Oakley, Popeye, Sesame Street, and much more; galleries are located on the Lobby Level and the Museum Store is located on the Garden Level

Wren's Nest Museum
DESCRIPTION: This Victorian residence was the home of Joel Chandler Harris; although it is easy for one to feel ambivalent about Harris' Br'er Rabbit storytelling, he is notable for recording the wit and wisdom of many Black characters from the days of slavery; features lots of memorabilia on hand from the 1800s
