American Jazz Museum & Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

Kansas City

Horace Peterson 18th Street Visitors Center connects both museums and has an audio-visual presentation documenting the African American experience in the 18th & Vine District and contributions to Kansas City at large. The center, museums and restored historic structures on 18th & Vine Streets take you on a trip back to bawdy 1930s Kansas City, the heyday of Jazz and gangsters.
